Certificates

At Hit The Note Clothing, we believe great style should never come at the expense of people or the planet. That’s why we proudly share the official certificates from our trusted manufacturer, showcasing their commitment to both environmental responsibility and ethical practices. These certifications demonstrate that every garment we create is produced with sustainable materials, reduced environmental impact, and fair, safe working conditions for all involved in the process. From eco-friendly fabric sourcing to ethically managed production, our certificates are more than just documents they’re proof of our promise to keep fashion in harmony with the world around us.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certification

Certificate Number: EGL/250258/GOTS/1818412/1

Issued by ECOCERT Greenlife

What it means:
This certificate proves that the fabrics we use—whether dyed, woven, or knitted—meet the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Version 7.0. It’s like the platinum record of sustainability in textiles. Every step, from the cotton field to the final fabric, has been independently audited and confirmed to be organic and responsibly made.

Example from our gear:
Our heavyweight hoodies and tees are made from fabrics such as 100% organic cotton, organic flax, or blends with recycled polyester—all verified by this certification.

Why it’s good for Hit the Note Clothing:
Our brand isn’t just about looking good; it’s about making noise for a better planet. This certification shows our customers that we don’t cut corners—we choose materials that are kind to the Earth and safe for the people who make and wear them. Wearing our streetwear means you’re part of a movement that’s as sustainable as it is stylish.

Certified Organic & Recycled Blends

(Part of the GOTS certification – product appendix)

What it means:

Some of our products use recycled pre/postconsumer polyester blended with organic cotton. These are still certified under GOTS and marked as “Made with organic” or “Organic”, depending on the percentage. This means we’re reducing waste and giving materials a second life.

Example from our gear:

Our limitededition track jackets are made with a mix of organic cotton and recycled polyester, cutting down on virgin materials while keeping that premium streetwear vibe.

Why it’s good for Hit the Note Clothing:

Streetwear is about innovation, and using certified recycled fibers shows that we’re not stuck in the past. We’re remixing the old into something fresh—just like sampling a classic beat and turning it into a new hit.

Responsible Processing & Distribution

(Included in the ECOCERT scope: Trading, Warehousing, and Distribution)

What it means:

It’s not just the fabric that’s certified—our supply chain management is too. Trading, warehousing, and distribution processes follow strict guidelines, ensuring that from factory floor to your doorstep, everything stays in line with the GOTS standards.

Example from our gear:

When you cop a new tee or hoodie from us, you can trust that every stage—from storage to shipping—respects both the product and the planet.

Why it’s good for Hit the Note Clothing:

It means our brand’s commitment doesn’t stop at design. We’re responsible all the way through. That’s the kind of credibility that makes our fans proud to wear us—because they know we deliver more than just threads; we deliver values.

Certified Sustainable: GOTS Certification (by Ecocert Greenlife)

At Hit the Note Clothing, we don’t just make noise with our streetwear – we make a statement. That’s why our pieces are produced under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) – the world’s leading certification for organic fibers, backed by rigorous environmental and social criteria.

What is GOTS?

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is an internationally recognized certification that ensures every step of the textile supply chain – from harvesting organic raw materials to environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing – is strictly regulated and transparent.

Our certificate, issued by ECOCERT Greenlife, confirms that the facilities involved in our production have been audited and approved under GOTS Version 7.0. This includes:

Trading Facility (Shaoxing Manshenghuo Textile Technology Co., Ltd.): Where our certified fabrics are sourced and traded responsibly.

Warehousing & Distribution Facility: Where products are stored and distributed, following eco-conscious logistics standards.

Why It Matters for Hit the Note Clothing

Example: Imagine buying a hoodie that not only looks bold and feels premium – but was made without harming the planet or the people behind the scenes. GOTS certification means our clothes are made with organic fibers, no harmful chemicals, fair labor practices, and low environmental impact.

Why This Is Good for You (and the Planet)

Healthier for Your Skin: No toxic residues from harsh dyes or synthetic finishes.

Better for the Planet: Uses less water, avoids polluting chemicals, and promotes biodiversity.

Fair for Workers: Ensures safe working conditions and no child labor.

Ethically Cool: Aligns with conscious values while keeping your street style sharp.

Hit the Note Clothing = Music Meets Ethics

Whether you’re dropping beats or just repping your style in the city, you can feel proud knowing your gear is backed by the highest sustainability standards in the industry.

Certified Safe: REACH Compliance Certificate (EC No. 1907/2006)

We don’t just care about how our gear looks — we care about what it’s made of. That’s why we’re proud to say our clothing complies with the REACH Regulation (EC No. 1907/2006) — one of the strictest chemical safety standards in the world.

What is REACH?

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, a regulation enforced by the European Chemical Agency (ECHA). This certificate confirms that our garments have been tested and do not contain harmful levels of any of the 224 “Substances of Very High Concern” (SVHCs) identified by the EU.

In short: no toxic stuff. No heavy metals, no hormone disruptors, no hidden chemicals — just clean, safe fashion.

Example: Safe Materials in Every T-Shirt

This certificate specifically covers t-shirts manufactured by Fuzhou Jicai Clothing Co., Ltd., confirming they meet EU chemical safety laws. Each tested item contains less than 0.1% of any of the 224 restricted substances — well below the limit.

Why This Matters for Hit the Note Clothing

Skin-Safe: Our clothing is safer for sensitive skin — no harsh chemical residues.

Eco-Friendly: Reduces environmental pollution from dangerous manufacturing byproducts.

Globally Responsible: Shows our commitment to international safety and transparency.

Why It’s Good for Our Brand

As a music-themed streetwear brand, we’re all about realness — and that extends to how our pieces are made. Being REACH-compliant means you can wear our fits knowing they’re not only fire on the outside but clean and responsible on the inside. It’s not just about making noise — it’s about making noise the right way.

Hit the Note Clothing = Streetwear With Substance

We blend bold beats with ethical threads — making sure every drop from us is something you can feel good in and about.

Certified Circular: Global Recycled Standard (GRS 4.0)

At Hit the Note Clothing, we believe in remixing more than just sound — we remix materials too. That’s why we’re proud to be aligned with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS 4.0), a globally recognized certification ensuring the integrity of recycled materials in our supply chain.

What is the Global Recycled Standard?

The GRS 4.0 certification, issued by Intertek, verifies that our dyed fabrics and production processes include authentic recycled content, and that they meet strict environmental and social responsibility standards — from sourcing to final product.

This means our clothing isn’t just stylish — it’s part of a closed-loop system that reduces waste and pollution.

Example: Recycled Fabrics Done Right

This certificate confirms that Shaoxing City Qiyueh Textile Co., Ltd., one of our key suppliers, uses GRS-certified recycled dyed fabrics in our products. Whether it’s a hoodie or a graphic tee, you can wear it knowing it helps divert plastic and textile waste from landfills and oceans.

Why This Matters for Hit the Note Clothing

Real Recycled Content: GRS validates that we’re not greenwashing — our materials are genuinely recycled.

Lower Carbon Footprint: Less energy, less water, less waste.

Ethical Supply Chain: GRS includes checks on worker rights, chemical usage, and environmental protection throughout the production process.

Why It’s Good for Our Brand

We’re not just another streetwear label. We’re a brand that speaks truth, stands for the planet, and blends culture with consciousness. GRS certification proves we walk the talk when it comes to sustainability — using recycled fabrics that hit the right note with eco-conscious consumers.

Hit the Note Clothing = Style With a Second Life
